La Rosa sul Mare has been delightfully converted to provide independent studio, one & two bedroom apartments. The entire complex has been recently renovated and decorated to a very high standard. It is located in the tranquil setting of Plemmirio, perched amongst the white rocky cliffs and positioned directly in front of the sea. It offers stunning panoramic sea views, well-maintained gardens, a communal swimming pool and sea-bathing platform for guests to use.

Each apartment has been individually decorated and furnished to a very high standard with new fittings and attractive furnishings.
The one bedroom apartments provide sleeping for up to 4 people and the small two bedroom apartments provide sleeping for up to 5 guests whilst the large two bedroom apartment provides sleeping for up to 6 guests).
Each apartment has its own independent entrance and includes: air-conditioning/heating throughout, satellite TV, telephone, safety deposit box, hairdryer, clothes horse, balcony and/or terrace with sun-loungers and outside furniture.
The apartments also include security, smoke, gas and emergency alarms.
Studio apartments:
Double bedroom with wardrobe and bedside units. Kitchen/diner area with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, sink unit and dining table. Bathroom with shower, bidet, sink and toilet.
One bedroom apartments
Double bedroom with wardrobe and bedside units. Kitchen/diner & lounge area with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, sink and double sofa bed. Bathroom with shower, bidet, sink and toilet. Balcony and/or terrace area. These apartments can accommodate up to four guests.
Two bedroom apartments (no lounge):
Two double bedrooms with either double or twin beds, a wardrobe and bedside units. Kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, and sink unit. Bathroom with shower, bidet, sink and toilet. Private terrace overlooking the sea. This apartment can accommodate up to five guests.
Large Two bedroom apartment (with lounge):
Two large double/twin bedrooms with wardrobes and bedside units. A kitchen/diner with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, and sink unit. A lounge area furnished with a sofa bed. The apartment also offers two bathrooms, both fitted with showers, a bidet, sink & toilet. The apartment offers a private terrace overlooking the sea. This apartment can accommodate up to six guests.

The swimming pool is open all year (except for a couple of days each year when the water is being changed).
The swimming pool opening hours are 10am – 7.30pm. Swimming caps must be worn in the pool.

During summer months, the complex provides a private sun-bathing platform on the rocks with sun umbrellas.

Due to its position on the rocks, these apartments would not be recommended for young children. However, it would be suitable babies or children over 10 years old.

The weekly pricing shown in the table below has been based on two guests sharing a studio apartment.
The weekly price for two guests sharing a studio apartment is £485 / €600 (Off Peak), £740 / €850 (Mid Season) and £1174 / €1350 (Peak).
The weekly price for two guests sharing a one bedroom apartment is £574 / €660 (Off Peak), £1000 / €1150 (Mid Season) and £1305 / €1500 (Peak).
The weekly price for two guests sharing a small two bedroom apartment (no lounge) is £696 / €800 (Off Peak), £1148 / €1320 (Mid Season) and £1522 / €1750 (Peak).
The weekly price for up to 2 guests sharing a large two bedroom apartment is £958 / €1100 (Off Peak), £1584 / €1820 (Mid Season) and £2610 / €3000 (Peak).
For each additional guest a weekly supplement of £60 / €70 is applicable.
Cots are available on request at an additional charge of £60 / €70 per week (payable locally).

Please be aware that the prices quoted are inclusive of the use of the air-conditioning/heating for a maximum of 6 hours a day (19:00 - 01:00). For any additional usage there will be a supplement of €10 per day, payable locally.
Linen and towels are changed every week.
All cleaning is included in the rental although please be aware that it is the responsibility of guests to ensure that the kitchen area is cleaned prior to departure. If the kitchen requires an end of stay clean then a local charge of €35 for the cleaning will be applied.
There is a charge of €10 per day, payable locally for the private parking facilities within the complex. Alternatively, there is free parking immediately outside of the property.

Plemmirio is a rocky coastal resort situated on the outskirts of Siracusa. There are no restaurants or bars within close proximity to the villa although there is a small grocery store approximately 2km away. The nearest sandy beaches are at Arenella (7km) or Fontane Biancha (15km) and the main town of Siracusa is 8km.
Sites of interest within the city of Siracusa include the ancient Greek Theatre, where performances are still staged during May & June and which forms part of a larger archeological park. The archeological museum has one of the best displays of archeological remains in Sicily. The old cathedral located in the heart of Ortigia date from 1728, but includes 8th century Norman artifacts.
Further afield from Siracusa, but within easy driving distance are the Baroque towns of Noto, Modica, Ispica and Ragusa Ibla. The popular resorts of Taormina, Giardini Naxos and Letojanni are located north of Catania, whilst the imposing form of Mount Etna is easily visible from Siracusa and offers numerous opportunities for excursions.
