| Accommodation details |
Originally built in the 1920’s, the villa epitomises the Italian summer villa so typical of the period, with large imposing doors, high ceilings and ceramic floor tiles throughout. Still owned by the same family, the villa sits in 4 hectares of prime Etna woodland, which has been planted with Chestnut and other nut trees typical for the area.
Set well back from the access road, the villa is reached via a private drive which leads up to a parking area to one side of the villa. To the front there is a large terrace which extends along the entire front of the villa, with steps down to a lower terrace where the swimming pool is located.
The main entrance to the villa leads directly into a hallway which has been furnished with occasional chairs and a table. A door to the left then leads to the lounge/diner, which has been furnished with two sofas, a dining-table and chairs. The room also offers a television with dvd player, a stereo and large french windows which provide access to the main veranda outside.
A door from the lounge provide access to one of the bedrooms. The room is large and spacious and has been furnished with twin beds, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. It has a window to the front which provides views towards the coast along with a side window which overlooks the garden.
A door from this bedroom provides access to a corridor which runs along the rear of the villa.
From the corridor there is access to the second and third bedrooms. The second bedroom has been furnished with a single bed and a wardrobe, whilst the third bedroom has been furnished with a double bed, bedside tables and a wardrobe. Large french windows provide access to the garden at the rear of the house. The bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom which has been equipped with bath, toilet, sink and bidet.
There is a second bathroom located at this end of the house which offers a shower, sink and toilet and which also houses the washing machine.
The main kitchen of the villa is accessed from the corridor at the rear of the house. In addition to numerous storage cupboards, the kitchen has been equipped with a sink, drainer, a large fridge-freezer, a microwave, coffeemaker and a small table & chairs.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the original Sicilian style kitchen of the villa, whose features include an original wood burning oven and hot plate, a further wood-burning pizza oven and the original ceramic tiling. This kitchen is now purely for display purposes! The room does offer a further kitchen table which clients can utilise if required, along with another set of french windows which provide access to the rear garden where an outside table and chairs is located for al-fresco eating.
The fourth and fifth bedrooms and the third bathroom are located at the other end of the villa. The fourth bedroom offers a single bed along with a chest of drawers, a wardrobe and french windows to the front. This bedroom provides the only access to the fifth bedroom, so can simply be used as an ‘ante-camera’ if not required for sleeping purposes.
The fifth and last bedroom is another large, spacious double bedroom with french windows to the front. The room has been furnished with a double bed, bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The third bathroom has been equipped with a shower, sink and toilet. All of the bedrooms have fans, whilst the whole villa has been fitted with central heating for the colder months of the year.
All of the villa is laid out on the ground floor, but there is a set of steps that provides access to the roof terrace. The terrace itself is enormous and provides plenty of space for sun-bathing along with even more spectacular views of the surrounding Etna countryside and the coastline. The terrace also houses the villas solar panels which provide hot water to the property.

| Outside area |
The property is accessed via private gates and has a reasonably long driveway which leads up to the side of the property where there is a parking area for cars.
All of the main property is surrounded by a veranda which provides plenty of space for sitting and relaxing outside. Steps then provide access to a lower garden level where the swimming pool is located. Because of restrictions imposed by the Etna National park, the swimming pool could not be build into the ground, so it sits above ground on a large concrete base. The pool is approximately 5 metres by 10 metres.
Adjacent to the pool is an old stone outhouse that houses the barbeque.
The rest of the grounds and extensive land in which the villa sits have been planted with numerous trees, which are predominantly horse chestnut and
