Set amongst 110 hectares of fruit orchards and olive groves, this farmhouse offers guests a relaxing stay in a beautiful natural environment. There are three self catering apartments available on a bed and breakfast basis, along with a swimming pool. The farmhouse is located just 20 minutes drive from the historical main town of Siracusa and 30 minutes from Catania airport.

The three self catering apartments all include antique furnishings, traditional wooden beamed ceilings, paved floorings and air-conditioning.
Alloro One bedroom apartment (Sleeps up to 4 guests)
Entrance leads into the lounge area which has been furnished with a table and chairs, chest of drawers, wardrobe, sofa bed and a television. Next to the lounge is the small kitchen fitted with oven and hob, sink, fridge/freezer and various storage cupboards. The first bathroom, which is also located from the lounge, offers a shower, sink and toilet. A small corridor leads to a spacious double bedroom furnished with a cast-iron double bed, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. This bedroom also includes an ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
Rosmarino Studio apartment (Sleeps up to 2 guests)
Entrance leads directly into the lounge/bedroom which has been furnished with a sofa bed, table and chairs, chest of drawers, wardrobe and a television. The kitchen is located in a separate room and is equipped with an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, a sink and various storage cupboards. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink, bidet and toilet.
Salvia One bedroom apartment (Sleeps up to 4 guests)
Entrance leads into a spacious lounge furnished with two sofas (one of which is a sofa bed), a small table and a television. The kitchenette is separated from the lounge by a wall which is also utilised as a bar with stools. The kitchenette has been fitted with an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, sink and various storage cupboards. The double bedroom has been furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and bedside units. The bathroom offers a shower, sink, bidet & toilet.

Every apartment has its own garden area, offering lawn, palms and flowers and which is furnished with a table and chairs. The swimming pool (open from 1 Apr 31 Oct) is set within the large gardens, approximately 150m from the apartments and offers sun loungers. There is also a communal laundry room and barbeque for guests to use.

The weekly pricing for 3-4 guests sharing a one bedroom apartment is £610 / 700 (Off Peak), £696 / 800 (Mid Season) and £870 / 1000 (Peak).
Nightly rates for bookings of less than 1 week subject to a minimum stay of 3 nights:
The nightly rate for 2 guests sharing a studio apartment is £48 / 55 per night (Off Peak), £60 / 70 per night (Mid Season) and £70 / 80 per night (Peak).
The nightly rate for 2 guests sharing a one bedroom apartment is £70 / 80 per night (Off Peak), £88 / 100 per night (Mid Season) and £100 / 115 per night (Peak).
The nightly rate for up to 4 guests sharing a one bedroom apartment is £88 / 100 per night (Off Peak), £110 / 125 per night (Mid Season) and £130 / 150 per night (Peak).
Basic provisions are provided for breakfast in the apartments and this is included in the pricing quoted above.
The apartments are cleaned weekly whilst the towels and sheets are changed every three/four days.

The farmhouse is situated in Contrada San Calogero, which is located between Catania and Siracusa. The closest beaches can be found at Agnone Bagni (approximately 2km) and Brucoli (approximately 8km). The town of Brucoli also offers supermarkets, restaurants and shops.
Besides Siracusa, other historical and archaeological sites of interest within easy reach, include the Baroque towns of Noto & Modica, which form part of a World Heritage site. Slightly further afield are the towns of Ispica, Ragusa Ibla, Caltagirone and Piazza Armerina.
The well known resort of Taormina and Mount Etna are both located to the north of Catania and can also be visited on a day trip basis.
