Set in the heart of Sicily, just a few kilometers from Vallegluna, in the province of Caltanissetta, this villa boasts stunning panoramic views of the hills and the surrounding countryside. The property includes 3 bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen and a large veranda with plunge-pool. Catania and Palermo airports are approximately 2 hours drive away whilst the Trapani airport is just under 3 hours drive.

A private gate provides access to a driveway that leads to a large terrace located at the font of the villa.
Entrance to the villa leads directly into a large open plan area comprising of a kitchen/diner and a lounge. The kitchen/diner has been furnished with a marble top dining-table and chairs, whilst the kitchen has been equipped with an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, double sink unit, washing machine and various storage units. The lounge area has been furnished with a sofa, coffee table and a television. There is also a large window which overlooks the veranda.
The ground floor bedroom is located off the lounge and provides a double bed, bedside tables and an ensuite bathroom fitted with a shower, sink and toilet.
A staircase from the lounge leads to the first floor where a further two bedrooms and a second bathroom are located.
The first floor double bedroom is a very spacious room and has been furnished with a double bed, two wardrobes and a sofa. French windows lead out to a balcony which boasts panoramic views over the hills and the veranda below. (This balcony is shared with the third bedroom)
The third bedroom has been furnished with twin beds, a bed-side table and a wardrobe. Once again french windows lead out onto the balcony.
The first floor bathroom has been fitted with a small bath (sitting only) with shower, a sink, bidet and toilet.

The villa offers a large veranda with a covered gazebo furnished with a wicker table and chairs. There is also a barbeque area along with an outside dining table and chairs.
The villa also offers a small plunge-pool (7m x 1m) set to one side of the veranda which ideal for kids or just cooling down. There are also several sun-loungers and sun umbrellas available for clients to use. The land that surrounds the veranda is an expanse of olive and fruit trees.
There is also a further terrace on the roof of the property with a table and chairs, gazebo and stunning panoramic views.

Villa Caterina is located within the Province of Caltanissetta, some 3km from the small town of Vallelunga, which offers numerous restaurants, supermarkets, banks etc.
The nearest beach resorts are located on the north coast and include Buonfornello, which is approximately 45 minutes away, or the popular resort of Cefalu which is an hours drive away.
The newly opened water park: Villa Caterina Scivolandia Aqua Park is located just 15 minutes drive away.
Other sites of interest include the Madonie National Park, which incorporates 40,000 hectares of land and is dominated by a mountain range which peak at 1,979 metres. There are numerous towns that fall within the Park worthy of a visit, with perhaps Petralia Soprana, Petralia Sottana & Polizzi Generosa being the best examples.
Further afield the Provincial capitals of Caltanissetta and Enna are within reasonable driving distance, whilst the Valley of Temples at Agrigento and the Villa Romana at Piazza Armerina are reacable on a day trip basis.
