Summary of accommodation This charming ‘boutique’ hotel has been lovingly renovated from a late 19th century Baglio and provides intimate accommodation and a wonderful restaurant. The hotel has an enviable position overlooking the sea and on the edge of the ‘Monte Cofano Nature Reserve’. Located between Erice and San Vito Lo Capo, Palermo airport is 85km and Trapani airport is 30km away.

Accommodation details The period farm buildings or ‘Baglio’ were renovated in 2001 and provide intimate accommodation along with an excellent restaurant. The structure was totally restored using original materials and has numerous typical Sicilian features including wooden beamed ceilings, hand-made roof tiles and stone window surrounds.

The hotel’s location is idyllic, offering panoramic sea views of Cornino Bay, with Mount Cofono as a back drop. The restaurant terrace overlooks the sea and often provides diners with stunning sun-sets and views of Erice in the distance.

There are 9 rooms in total. All of the hotel rooms have been individually furnished and decorated, with many offering exposed stonework, wooden ceilings and ceramic floor tiles, whilst one of the rooms offers a four poster bed.

The hotel can offer double rooms, triple rooms and one quadruple room, all which have their own independent access. A few of the rooms have also been adapted for disabled access.

All of the rooms offer: air-conditioning, television, telephone, hairdryer, safety deposit box and a private ensuite bathroom. Some of the rooms offer a mini-bar (avail on request). A DVD and/or Playstation can be made available on request.

The hotel restaurant serves traditional Sicilian dishes, including specialities such as Couscous and Swordfish, which are synonymous with the West coast of Sicily. Guests can enjoy their meal inside the restaurant itself or on a large outside terrace which overlooks the sea.
