Nestling in the Ragusa country-side but only 6km from the coast, La Muraglia has been lovingly restored to provide excellent B&B accommodation. Originally a 19th century farmhouse, the buildings have been completely renovated and offer exposed stone walls, wooden beamed ceilings, a cobbled courtyard and traditional Sicilian furnishings. The farmhouse also offers a breakfast room, a small children’s play area and a wonderful swimming pool. Catania airport is just under 2 hours drive away.

Totally renovated to a high standard and characterised by typical Sicilian architecture, La Muraglia provides a warm and charming atmosphere. The farmhouse is also dedicated to protecting the environment and has numerous eco-friendly measures including solar panels to provide most of its electricity.
The farmhouse offers six rooms in total, made up of 2 doubles, 3 triples and a quadruple room.
All of the rooms have been equipped with air conditioning, a small fridge, safety deposit box, television, ensuite bathroom and a hairdryer.
There is also a breakfast room and internet access is available for guests to use in the reception area.
Externally there is a swimming pool which also offers sun loungers and sun umbrellas. The pool is open all year round and is surrounded by lawn and mature trees which provide shade during the summer
There is also a shared barbeque, outside tables and chairs, a gazebo, a small, children’s play area and ample parking.

The weekly pricing shown in the table below are based on two guests sharing a double room on a bed and breakfast basis.
The daily price for this room is £60/ €70 per night (Off Peak), £78 / €90 per night (Mid Season) and £104 / €120 per night (Peak Season).
Children under 2 are entitled to stay free of charge. Cots are available on request.
Children 2-10 years old (in a third bed) are entitled to a discount of 70% from the per person rate).
Adults & children over 10 (in a third bed) are entitled to a discount of 50% (from the per person rate).

The farmhouse has a beautiful rural location about 6km from Santa Croce Camerina and a similar distance from the coast which is visible the lovely beaches of Punta Secca. There are numerous supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants in both Santa Croce Camerina and the beach resorts of Marina di Ragusa.
The baroque towns of Ragusa Ibla, Noto, Ispica and Modica that have been recently confirmed as World Heritage sites are within easy reach of the farmhouse. The castle of Donnafugata is also within easy driving distance.
