This 3 star agriturismo has been recently renovated and is situated in a beautiful rural location close to the small town of Ucria and the Nebrodi Mountain National Park. The land around the structure is partly cultivated and partly natural woodlands. Catania airport is approximately 200km away. The agriturismo offers 2 apartments, 2 suites and 1 double room with a shared kitchen/lounge area.

Agriturismo Pietra offers an ideal retreat immersed in the Sicilian countryside and surrounded by mature woodlands, wild flowers and plants and wildlife that are ideal for panoramic walks. It is also conveniently located for the coastal area on the North Coast and the mountanous terrain of the Nebrodi Park.
The local restaurants specialise in grilled meat dishes, home made pasta and antipasta of cheese, salami, olives.
Mountain excursions on horseback and fishing expeditions can be arranged.
All of the accommodation has been comfortably furnished with traditional solid chestnut furniture. There are no TV’s, radios or telephones in the apartments.

Includes a kitchen/dining area with hob, fridge freezer and table and chairs. A double bedroom and a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom fitted with a shower. There is also a separate bathroom fitted with a shower. The apartment also includes a panoramic terrace situated close to the fruit orchard and furnished with tables and chairs.
Apartment Valle del Ghiro – first floor
Includes a kitchen/dining area with hob, large fridge/freezer and table and chairs. A double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms with ensuite bathroom fitted with a shower. There is also a second bathroom fitted with shower. The apartment also includes a panoramic terrace and furnished with tables and chairs.
Suite - Poggio Pietra – first floor
Includes a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom fitted with a shower. .
Room 1 - Poggio Pietra – ground floor
A double bedroom fitted with twin beds and adapted for disabled use. There is also a private bathroom (located outside of the room) which has also been adapted for disabled use.
Room 2 - Poggio Pietra – ground floor
A double bedroom with bathroom and a panoramic terrace furnished with table and chairs.
There is also a communal lounge/dining area furnished with a sofa and table and chairs and a kitchen fitted with an electric oven, hob, a large fridge/freezer and a covered terrace furnished with table and chairs which are available for guests in the rooms and the suite to utilise.
Animals are not permitted within the structure. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside of the building.

The weekly pricing shown in the table below are based on two guests sharing a double room on a bed and breakfast basis. The nightly cost of this room is £58 per night.
The nightly rate for the Poggio Pietra Suite up to 4 adults sharing) is £115 per night on a bed and breakfast basis.
Use of the communal kitchen/lounge/dining room is included in the price for guests in the rooms and suite.
The rooms and the suite are cleaned every day and the linen and towels are changed every three days.
The nightly rate for the Valle Ghiro, first floor apartment for up to 4 adults is £150 per night on a bed and breakfast basis.
The nightly rate for the Valle Ghiro, ground floor apartment for up to 4 adults is £108 per night on a bed and breakfast basis.
The apartments are cleaned every day and the linen and towels are changed every 3 days. Breakfast and basic provisions are included in the price.
The cost for an additional bed is £ 22 per day (adults), £15 per day (children 5-11 years old) and £6 per day (children 0-4 years old) on a bed and breakfast basis.
Cots are available on request for an additional charge of £8 per night.
A minimum stay of 1 week is required during July and August whilst for the rest of the year a minimum of 2 days is required.

The costal areas of the north coast are within 20 minutes drive offering various sandy beach areas, rocky coastlines and crystal clear waters. Equally the small town of Capo d'Orlando and Gioiosa Marea, and the area of Tindari with their archeological and religious sites of interest are within easy driving distance. Finally Milazzo which offers sea connections to the Aeolian islands.
Scatterd amongst the mountainous area around the agriturismo there are numerous antique towns. Amongst which Naso which is a mountain side town which overlooks the north coastal areas and the Aeolian islands. Ucria has a beautiful church and mountain huts where you can sample the local grilled meats and home made pasta. Floresta is situated 1300m above sea level which separates the northern area with the valley of Mount Etna. From Floresta it is possible to reach le Gole dell'Alcantara, Etna, Taormina and Catania. The airport of Catania is approximately 200km away.
