This stylish four star hotel is set in an old Sicilian 1920’s mansion, and was originally converted to a hotel in 1926. The hotel is set amongst hillside gardens and offers stunning views of the Messina Straight and Calabria. Taormina town centre is within easy walking distance whilst Catania airport is approximately one hour’s drive away. The hotel facilities include a restaurant, bar/lounge, swimming pool, pool-side bar, tennis courts and private parking.

There are 68 rooms including standard doubles (with no sea view), deluxe double rooms (with sea view) and superior double rooms featuring a terrace or balcony furnished with table and chairs and sea views. A third bed can be provided in the superior double rooms.
The hotel also offers suites which comprise of a double bedroom and a second room (with 2 single beds) which are separated by a door and a private bathroom.
All of the rooms offer traditional décor with imperial-style furniture and include air-conditioning, direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini-bar, hairdryer, safety deposit box and ensuite bathroom.
The swimming pool is set beneath the hotel and lush Mediterranean gardens and includes a poolside bar offering light snacks, grills and salads (season opening).
The restaurant offers both Mediterranean specialities and International dishes and opens out onto a terrace with panoramic sea views for al fresco dining in summer months.
The bar offers Sicilian wines, long drinks and cocktails which can be enjoyed outside on the terrace.
Amongst the gardens there is also a tennis court for guests to utilise on request at a supplement of €10 for 45 mins, per person.
The hotel has private parking facilities at a daily rate of €10 per day, payable locally.

The hotel is situated in Taormina within walking distance of the main street of Corso Umberto. Taormina has numerous shops, bars and restaurants mainly centered on the main street. There is also an ancient Greek Theatre where live concerts are often performed during the peak summer months. The coastal area of Taormina Mare has many public and private beaches including Mazzaro Bay where the cable car station is located, Isola Bella, which is a protected island and the beach resort of Giardini-Naxos.
