| Accommodation details |
The hotel is located overlooking the small marina of Castellammare del Golfo and therefore some of the bedrooms and the external restaurant offer great views of the sea. Originally the listed building was used as a tuna factory but it has been wonderfully restored and converted into a hotel during 2004.
There are 26 rooms including 1 single, 20 doubles, (some equipped for disabled guests) 4 triples and 1 suite. Some of the rooms offer a small balcony, whilst all are equipped with air-conditioning, mini-bars, telephone, internet point, satellite television and safety deposit boxes. The ensuite bathrooms have been fitted with either modern baths or showers, toilets, sinks and bidets.
The hotel offers two restaurants, one located inside the hotel and the other located outside, with an enviable setting overlooking the marina and harbour. The cuisine is traditional Sicilian with a modern flavour.

| Area information |
The town of Castellamare del Golfo assumed its early importance as a port for the ancient settlements in Segesta and Erice. The old quarter, which is based around the 17th century Aragonese Castle, is now full of small restaurants and bars. The coastline from Castellammare del Golfo to San Vito lo Capo is some of the most stunning that Sicily has to offer and is typified by isolated coves and rocky beaches. The area includes the Zingaro National Park, the picturesque fishing village of Scopello as well as the beach areas around San Vito lo Capo. Other sites within easy driving distance include the ancient city of Segesta, which offers perhaps the best preserved Doric temple in Sicily, the medieval hill-top town of Erice and the Egadi Islands which are accessed from Trapani.
