Hotel Torre Artale is a four star hotel located near Sicily’s north coast, almost equidistant between Palermo and Cefalù whilst the beach resort of Trabia is only a few kilometres away. The hotel has been beautifully converted from the former residence of the Marquis Artale of Sant ‘Onofrio and provides 70 rooms (standard and superior). Other facilities include a large swimming pool, a children’s swimming pool and club, a private beach (2.5km away), solarium, tennis courts, table-tennis and a restaurant.

The standard double rooms have been furnished with wrought iron beds and offer exposed wooden ceiling beams..
The superior rooms are all located in the main structure and have been elegantly furnished with four-poster beds.
The family rooms include a mezzanine level that allows sufficient room for a third and fourth bed.
All of the bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning, a television (Sky pay per view), direct dial telephone and mini-bar.
The hotel has a restaurant that is located in the main building and offers a buffet style breakfast, lunch & dinner. There are two bars, one located in the main hotel and a second pool-side bar which is open from June to September.
Other facilities at the hotel include a large swimming pool and separate children’s pool (open April – October) a private beach club, which is connected to the hotel by a regular free shuttle bus. There are also tennis courts, volley-ball and basket-ball, mini-golf, table-tennis for guests to use.
Horse riding is also available, although there is a supplement for this service.

The Hotel is located a few kilometres from the beach resort of Trabia on the north coast of Sicily. The airport at Palermo is under an hour’s drive away, whilst Catania airport is a little over two hours away.
Sites of interest include the picturesque medieval town of Cefalù, which besides offering some beautiful coastline and beaches, also features many historic buildings. The town is dominated by the 12th century Norman cathedral and ‘La Rocca’, an enormous rock promontory. Other nearby beach resorts include Castel di Tusa and Campofelice di Roccella.
Other areas of interest include the historical town of Monreale with its famous Norman Cathedral, the Madonie Mountains that besides the mountainous countryside also offers numerous hill towns including Petralia Soprana and Polizzi Generosa known for their Arab and Norman architecture.
