Hotel Le Calette is located on the sea-front in the popular resort of Cefalù. The hotel is overlooked by the famous cliff top known simply as ‘La Rocca’ and is conveniently located for Palermo airport, which is an hour’s drive away, or the train station in Cefalù which is 4km away. Hotel facilities include 60 rooms, private beach, swimming pool, jacuzzi pool sauna, restaurant and a bar.

There are standard double, triple and quadruple rooms on the ground floor that (pool-side) offer a limited sea view and include the use of a shared patio area
The standard double rooms with terrace are situated on the first floor and offer a sea view and include a small veranda with table and chairs.
Guests are entitled to use a private pebble beach offering sun loungers, umbrellas, changing facilities, showers, a beach bar and various water sports (windsurf and sailing payable locally). There is a disco on the beach during Peak season, a piano bar three times a week and Sicilian Folk music once a week.
The hotel also has a large private swimming pool (open May-October) with jacuzzi and sauna, restaurant, bar, reading lounge with satellite television, internet point, table tennis and a small children’s play area.
Please be aware that a train line runs at the rear of the hotel, which is common for most of the hotels in this area. The train service is fairly limited and only comprises of two carriages and therefore the noise disruption is minimal. Additionally all of the bedrooms are located at the front of the hotel.

The Hotel is located in the medieval town of Cefalù with a beach front position. The airport at Palermo is an hour’s drive away, whilst Catania airport is approximately two hours away.
Sites of interest within the immediate area include the picturesque medieval town of Cefalù itself, which besides offering one of the most beautiful stretches of beach on the north coast, also features many historic buildings. The town is dominated by the 12th century Norman cathedral and ‘La Rocca’, an enormous rock promontory. Other beach resorts include Castel di Tusa and Campofelice di Roccella. The Madonie Mountains offer an immediate and obvious attraction. Besides the mountainous countryside, there are also the hill towns of Petralia Soprana and Polizzi Generosa that offer Arab and Norman architecture.
