The Angiolucci Residence hotel has been converted from a 19th century building and offers self-catering apartments in the heart of Catania. The residence has 30 apartments that have been furnished with a minimum of double bed, ensuite bathroom, dining area and kitchenette fitted with electric hob, coffee machine and microwave. Some apartments have also been fitted with a sofa bed.

The accommodation is located close to Via Etnea, one of Catania’s main shopping street, whilst the historical area centred on the Duomo is within easy walking distance. The airport at Catania is only a few kilometres away, whilst Taormina, Mount Etna and Siracusa are all within easy driving distance.
The residence hotel has a breakfast room and a communal lounge area on the ground floor. There is a further small communal lounge on the fourth floor that has been equipped with a television.

The residence hotel offers 30 individual apartments split across four floors. The apartments have been categorised as either ‘Classic’ or ‘Elegance’ and can sleep from one to four people.
Those apartments that are laid out over two floors have been furnished with a double sofa bed, dining table and chairs and have been equipped with satellite television, radio and direct dial telephone. The kitchenette can be closed away within its unit and is equipped with an electric hob, sink, fridge, microwave oven and coffee machine. A staircase then leads to the bedroom that has been furnished with a double bed, a large wardrobe and a television. The ensuite bathroom has been fitted with a shower or bath, bidet, sink and toilet and also has a hair-dryer. The ‘Classic’ apartments also have french windows providing access to a small balcony.
The apartments that are laid out over a single floor feature a lounge/diner with kitchenette, a bedroom and an ensuite bathroom.
Although all of the apartments provide basic self-catering facilities the nightly or weekly rates include a buffet breakfast.

The weekly pricing shown in the table below is based on two guests sharing an "Elegance" apartment on a B&B basis.
The nightly rate for two guests sharing an "Elegance" apartment on a B&B basis is £128 / €145 per night.
The price of a "Classic" apartment based on two guests sharing on a bed and breakfast basis is £158 / €180 per night.
Please be aware that the daily apartment clean does not include the kitchenette although this service is available on request for an additional supplement of €15 per day (payable locally).
An additional cleaning supplement of €15 is payable at the end of your stay for those guests that have utilised the kitchenette.
The daily supplement for a 3rd, 4th or 5th guest staying in an apartment is £35 / €40 per person.
Children 0-8 stay free of charge when sharing a room with two paying adults.
Parking facilities are available on request (payable locally).

The residence hotel is located within easy walking distance of the main shopping streets, Piazza Duomo and many of the historical sites that central Catania has to offer. There are also numerous bars and restaurants within close proximity to the hotel. Mount Etna overlooks the city and therefore the towns and lava flows on the mountain side are all within easy driving distance. The popular resort of Taormina is within an hour’s drive to the north of Catania, whilst Siracusa is an hour’s drive to the south.
